“Phantom II is not intended to compete with racing or ultra-sporting types of cars, nevertheless it will more than maintain the position the “Phantom” has achieved amongst its owners of being the fastest genuine touring car in the world” – Rolls-Royce limited, 1929 catalogue.

The “Phantom II”, which was introduced in 1929, was the third in a line of large Rolls-Royce cars founded in 1906 with the introduction of the 40-50 HP “Silver Ghost”. Within a year or so that model had swept its makers from relative obscurity to the leading position in the world luxury-cars class by setting standards of quality overall that few of its rivals and contemporaries ever approached. Our 1933 Rolls-Royce short-chassis “Continental Phantom II”, a cabriolet de ville with coachwork to H.R. Owen’s design, was built by Barker. The car belonged to the Greek Ambassador to the Court of St. James, and it has now been completely restored to original specification by its present owner.

It comes with its original box, original assembly manual and the digital assembly manual in high resolution PDF.
